EgyptianMarketplace.com from LAB Enterprises was founded in 2003.

I've been interested in all things Egyptian since childhood and wish I'd thought about being an Egyptologist when I was younger! My home definitely has developed an Egyptian theme over the years and in finding items for my home, I started carrying them on my other store, Mystic Convergence expanding my selection here.

I am still adding a lot of pieces and finding more and more Egyptian importers to work with to be able to bring great pieces actually made in Egypt to our customers. I also love pieces made in India and Bali and both will be included here as well. I've even been known to study belly dancing from time to time and some dancers I know asked me to carry items for them...hence the growth of my Middle Eastern Dance category!
